Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) has announced that its senior management team has a new chairman and president.
Current director and senior managing executive officer, Junichiro Ikeda is to be the new company president after spending over 35 years at MOL.
On the 23rd of June he will take over his new duties from Koichi Muto.
According to a statement, Ikeda graduated from Tokyo University in 1979 with a degree in law and immediately joined MOL. He has held a number of different roles at the company over the years, including manager of the HR and liner division.
Current president Muto will take on the position of representative director and chairman.
