Ningbo orders trio from Jinling

Ningbo Marine has ordered three handysize bulk carriers from China’s Jinling Shipyard, the company has confirmed in statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The three 49,500 DWT capacity vessels will cost a combined total of US$ 81.5m and will be employed on coastal coal transport operations. The vessel are due for delivery in 2017, taking NIngbo's bulker fleet to six.

Ningbo has already added three vessels of similar size in 2012 built by China Shipping Industry (Jiangsu) Co.
