Great Eastern confirms MR tanker deal

Great Eastern Shipping has confirmed the acquisition of a medium range (MR) tanker.

GE announced the new deal to the Bombay Stock Exchange on November 5.

The tanker has not been identified, but it is stated as being built in Japan in 2004 and as having a 48,700 dwt capacity.

The price was also not disclosed.

GE Shipping currently has a fleet of 30 vessels, which includes 11 product tankers.
