Shipping, logistics and marine services company, GAC is taking its oil and gas support to a new level by appointing a new manager to its global hub services in Europe
New European role for GAC’s Steve Gibson

Steve Gibson has been appointed oil and gas business manager, Europe – global hub services, to drive the development of a dedicated hub service for oil and gas customers throughout the region.

Group vice president, Europe, Ivo Verheyen says: “Steve's new role was created with our oil and gas customers in mind. Through him, we shall take the fullest advantage of GAC's insight, expertise and experience in this important sector to help deliver their strategies with more specialist services, GAC locations and innovative support for clients in the UK, throughout Europe and beyond.

"Steve's experience in global energy hubs like Houston and Aberdeen and proven expertise, dynamism, resolve and enthusiasm make him the ideal man to take GAC's services for the sector to the next level. His determination to strive for continuous improvement in compliance and HSSE matters reflects the GAC group's highest standards on behalf of clients, staff and business partners alike."

Gibson continues to be based at GAC's quayside office and warehouses at Aberdeen, where he has worked for the last three years, most recently as general manager, oil and gas
